Oliver Stone visits My Lai massacre site to research Vietnam movie

Oscar-winning US filmmaker Oliver Stone Thursday visited the Vietnamese village of My Lai to research a movie about the infamous massacre there, one of the darkest chapters of the Vietnam War.

Last month, Andy Nguyen, Vinh son nephew came to Vietnam to shoot a short film named "Feel".. Reaching the hard question of women married by force to foreigners for economical reasons, I gave a small part in his movie for accomplishment..

Where’s Vietnam (2)

Inspired by the book "89 us poets against Vietnam war", the film uses the original slam by Harvey Bialy called "Viet". One week before leaving to VN in 04, I found the french translation on the edge of the Seine in Paris. Thanks to my friend Jordan Mintzer researches through internet, I get the original book 2 years later.

The moon in the deep of the well by NSUT Nguyen Vinh Son

After 3 years of hard work on the production, Director Vinh Son just finished the shooting of 'The moon in the deep of the well' in Hue and is actually on editing.

This vietnamese feature will be one of the first with 100% in-sound, a revolution in Vietnam..

Inspired by Ozu, Vinh Son created a very special atmospher in his movie, using travelling and armed-camera to serve the novel, written by Tran Thuy Mai.

Actifilms will produce the movies making-off soon..
